Yes, it’s true – You can cheat in DotA 2. You can do it only in PRIVATE GAME only, using the command sv_cheats 1, via your console, wich will enable the cheats.
Example of ‘cheat’, you can type in your console (after you activated the cheats) “bind v stopsound” without the quotes, and when you will press V it will stop your sound for a second, this might help you when Akasha uses her ultimate scream for exampl, you press V and it stop her sound.

Hello folks again, we recieved new Dota 2 beta keys. Yes, you hear good, keys, not invitations, so each key will have 2 invitations, to invite your friends too. So, how it works? Really simple, write down a comment were you should write why do you think you would deserve a key.
Rules:
1. Do not posts multiple times (you will get disqualified).
2. Use a valid email, the invitation will be send on your email (if you want to appear in your steam account, then use the email from your steam account).
Suggestion: You can put your friends too post their story too, you can send the link to your friends via Facebook or any other social network if you want to increase your chanses to win.
The contest will end Sunday (1/8/2012), the winners will be picked randomly and announced here on this post.

As the new Dota map was released, so a new Map Hack version was already released. You can use the maphack to find new bugs, but always remember, when you find one, you also need to report it to IceFrog, otherwise it’s pointless. You have a lot of bugs to discover, since IceFrog just added 4 new heroes.

Ice frog just released DotA 6.73b map for Wacraft III. The last release includes a lot of bug fixed to heroes, and several changes to the 3 of the new heroes, more precisely Xin – Ember Spirit, Rizzrak- Goblin Shredder and Tresdin – Legion Commander. Also Pudge got removed his Santa hat.

2 dota keys give away

As you know, DotA 2 is in the closed beta stage. Today they send more invitation, along with the latest update to the game, were they added Krobelus (Death Prophet). By the way, they added Prophet to the Radiant team, while in the old DotA she is in the Scourge, it might be a mistake, I think her place is in the Dire, not in the Radius (for those who doesn’t know Radiant = Sentinels, Dire = Scourge) wich is pretty lame.
So, in other words, just tell us why do you think you deserve a beta key, just post a comment, we will use random.org to select a comment and announce the winner Sunday, don’t forget to include your email in the ‘email’ section.
Want to increase your chanses? Just tell your friends about this, like it on facebook, or whatever you think it will get you the key, or one invitation from the key. 
Dota 6.73 new heroes

Icefrog announced that he continues to develop DotA map for Warcarft 3. The upcomming map, Dota 6.73 will be realeased in the following weeks and will have more than 1 hero added. That was confirmed by IceFrog.
The new heroes will be the Gnoll, the Goblin Shredder, and the last one it’s Frost wirm.

A new maphack was released for DotA 6.72f version, wich announced yesterday by IceFrog. The new map hack is now more stable, and it’s also available for Unix system and Windows. It also work on Garena, so you have now maphack for garena for DotA 6.72f.
We highly recommend you to use it only for ‘development’ purposes, like finding bugs and other stuff, and not on the internet with other players, just for fair play spirit.

Yes, it’s true, another DotA map 6.72 was released yesterday, it’s DotA 6.72f map, wich contains a major bugfix with Spirit Bear’s Return, wich caused: Spirit Bear would sometimes not have the Return ability active after it respawns until an enemy hero hits it.
